Trade & Liquidation Service GmbH & Co. KG operates its websites in accordance with the principles set out below:

Trade & Liquidation Service GmbH & Co. KG undertakes to adhere to the provisions of law on data protection and to do its utmost to observe the principles of data avoidance and data minimisation at all times.

1. Definitions

  1. Data is deemed “Personal” if it contains individual information about the personal or material situation of a defined or definable person, in particular name and address, as well as member name, password and IP address.
  2. “Gathering” of data means the procurement of data. “Processing” means storage, modification, transmission, blocking and deletion of data.
  3. “Use” means any further use that does not come under processing.

2. Gathering and processing of data

  1. Contractual relationship
    Within the context of establishing the contractual relationship between Trade & Liquidation Service GmbH & Co. KG and the customer, only the personal data absolutely necessary to fulfil the contract will be gathered and processed as mandatory information. To the extent the customer gives additional information, he does so voluntarily. Within the context of the ordering sequence, the customer may have explicitly issued the following consent: “I hereby consent to the information I have given voluntarily being included in the customer database for future orders.”

    Upon ordering the newsletter, the e-mail address must be gathered and processed in order to handle the order. Giving any further personal data is not necessary when ordering the newsletter.
  3. Customer account
    Within the context of the customer account, the data entered by the customer are gathered and processed. In particular, the customer’s buying activities are saved so that he can view them at any time. Within the context of registration, the customer may have explicitly issued the following consent: “I hereby consent to the information I have given voluntarily being included in the customer database for future orders.”
  4. Cookies
    Data for marketing and optimisation purposes are gathered and stored on this website. Usage profiles are created from that data under a pseudonym. Cookies may be used for that purpose. Cookies involve small text files that are stored locally in the interim memory of the Internet browser of the site visitor. The cookies allow that Internet browser to be identified again. 3. Use and forwarding of personal data

    Personal data provided by customers are used to process and fulfil the contract and for technical administration.
  2. Customer account
    The customer account serves the customer by helping him to control his buying activities, manage his customer account and his personal settings.
  3. Forwarding of personal data
    Personal data will only be forwarded or otherwise transmitted to third parties if doing so is necessary for the purpose of fulfilment of contract, is needed for billing purposes or where the customer has previously consented to it.
  4. Email newsletter
    The customer only receives a newsletter per e-mail if he has previously explicitly consented to receiving it. The newsletter can be cancelled at any time via the link shown at the end of each newsletter.
  5. Forwarding otherwise
    Forwarding of the data otherwise only takes place in accordance with the provisions of data protection law or upon being called for by authorities, courts and the tax office, or in the event of a claim on the part of a third party because of a potential violation of protective rights (copyright, trademark and other property rights) by a holder of protective rights.

4. Deletion of the stored data, disclosure, blocking and revocation, contact persons

  1. Deletion, blocking after the end of the contractual relationship
    At the end of the contractual relationship or the end of other use, the customer’s personal data will be deleted immediately to the extent they are no longer needed for further fulfilment of contract. Instead of that deletion, blocking takes place if it is in conflict with legal, company bylaw or contractual retention periods.
  2. Revocation of consent
    The customer can revoke the consent he issued for gathering and processing of personal data at any time with effect for the future. Merely sending an e-mail to info@tlservice.com suffices for that purpose. In this regard, please note the information on deletion per no. 4 a).
  3. Right to information, correction, blocking or deletion
    Under the Federal Data Protection Act, the customer has a right to information free of charge on the data stored concerning his person and, where applicable, a right to correction, blocking or deletion of those data.

5. Amendment of the Data Protection Statement

  1. Should Trade & Liquidation Service GmbH & Co. KG amend its Data Protection Statement, that fact shall be made known on the homepage and registered customers will be notified by e-mail.
